She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the interdisciplinary areas of dance/arts, religion, and women's studies since 2006. She is currently Pastor for Preaching and Worship at Wake Forest Baptist Church. Her book "Dancing the Feminine in the World's Religions" is scheduled to be published with Peter Lang Publishers in November 2011.
Yarber has served in local Baptist churches and danced professionally since 1999; she is also a painter.
