2011 is the beginning year for LALAA, though it's been in the minds and hearts of several local artists for years.
Our aim is to create a hub - or network - for liturgical artists of all types and faiths around Atlanta.
Who does that include? Sculptors, musicians, painters, weavers, dancers, actors, writers, poets, designers, worship leaders, worship planners, lay people who believe the Arts in Worship are a vital expression of the Spirit of God.
Our function is to Connect, Educate and Serve:
Connect
Through networking and planned meetings we gather with members both within and outside of our particular discipline.
Educate
We will offer workshops, seminars, worship services and provide instruction in a variety of venues and learning situations.
Serve
We offer our talents to congregations eager to implement the use of worshiping arts in their own spaces. We will offer consulting in - Worship space enhancement
